The Family Name – Ashton Crawford turnaround, Brain Booster Machine and Mercs!

Hey there fellow Holmesians! We have some more preliminary designs from Daniel Wong for “the Family Name”.  My first comment was simply “Wowsers”!

First up, a turnaround for Ashton Crawford – the man who collects only the rarest of articles. His suit would put Edgar II’s clothes to shame. Complete with wash tones!

We also some gloriously tough looking mercs for the Homes clan to lay a beat down on!

And finally, Daniel has also done an initial concept sketch for Ashton’s Brain Boosting machine!

As always, thoughts, suggestions and comments are encouraged!

In the words of Will Smith, “Jean Claude van DAMN that looks good!”

Literally captures everything I hoped the character would be. Makes me very excited to see the rest come to fruition!

I know my last comment wasn’t really very constructive, but that’s because I can’t really think of any way these need improving.

Although here’s a suggestion for a famous possession that might be visually unique: Toulosse lautrec’s bicycle (http://www.cyclorama.net/viewArticle.php?id=9). Assuming the visual isn’t too goofy, that it could fit in the jar, I can see it adding more visual variety to the items.

Also, I don’t know if she had any items that have been associated with her, but a good female genius that would be appropriate for the story might be Agatha Christie?

Thanks everyone for all your great suggestions! I’m sure James is going to give me an interesting list of smart-people-things to draw.
